This is a MONSTER of a film post! But I love all these photos (as I always do), and wanted to use this post to share some recommendations of some of the places awe ate/some of the things we did. I also made this video which honestly made my heart warm, so please do go have a watch too!
Where to stay:
The Ludlow. I LOVE this hotel, the beds are amazing, the location is brilliant. 10/10 for everything. There is also an amazing coffee spot right next door called Ludlow Coffee Supply. I cannot recommend enough nipping next door to there every morning before heading out to explore. It’s the perfect start to the day.
Where to eat:
Russ & Daughters: Go and get a bagel!! SO GOOD.
Chinese Tuxedo: a great restaurant for Chinese, as the name suggests. There are also a couple of bars right next door to it which are lots of fun too, one of them serves some amazing cocktails too!
Eataly: This is like a huge market place full of Italian food. You can buy food there, or sit in and eat at the many restaurants which is what we did - it was some really great Italian food!
Via Carota: another great Italian spot, this one I would recommend for dinner. This was the best meal we had while we were there, and the negoris they did were brilliant.
Xi'an Famous Foods: Based in green point, this place honestly looks like nothing, but it amazing!! The dumplings were incredible, honestly one the best meals we had!
Where to visit:
The newly opened Hudson Yards is well worth a visit, for this exhibit in particular. It’s a great end point to the Highline, which I had never walked before and really loved! There is a huge shopping mall there too which is mega fancy, but I would sooner shop on the streets as to in there.
There is currently a Leonard Cohen exhibition at the Jewish Museum, it was incredible, even if you’re not the biggest Leonard Cohen fan! I LOVED it and we literally spent hours there exploring each section.
One great bar we went to was Fat Cat in Greenwich. It’s a proper dive (the toilets are gross), filled with table tennis, pool tables and shuffle boards. It’s such a good little drinking spot and to play some games with friends.
What I Wore:
Grey wool blazer from Frankie Store (similar here), Dear Frances flip flops, Massimo Dutti linen coat, Massimo Dutti linen white shirt, Raey cream wool trousers, Church’s brogues.
