JAMES ST.
I am excited to share with you all some photos I shot at home for a brand I am a recent fan of, James St. I set up my tripod, ordered a shutter release on eBay, and spent a few hours prancing around the room in some very cosy knitwear.
The brand is beautiful, and their own imagery online is gorgeous, so I wanted to to my best to create something that complimented that, even within the restrictions of my own home.
Here I am wearing the Lina pant, in a small. The length is great, possibly could be too long if you're petite! But the XS are a whole inch and half shorter, which is worth noting. I think these would be a great piece to treat yourself to now as they look and feel great for around the house, but also are something you can pop out wearing if you need to (which is basically all my day to day life is right now!!) So far mine haven’t given in over the knees which I am really pleased about, as that is usually an issue I have with trousers like these.
The men's fishermen funnel knit in a size small. I love this one so much. It's so warm, and also a great piece for lounging around the house. I love the wide neckline on this, it looks great with a t-shirt underneath but also nice with just skin. A nice way to show the tiniest bit more skin off, without then freezing to death. It’s super long at the back, so definitely stick to your usual size or smaller.
And the Ida cable, also a size small! This one is nice and cropped so great with high waisted trousers. It has a great neckline (again), as it isn’t too high that is feel irritating (a gripe I often have with high necked knitwear), but also is high enough to get all the styling benefits of a turtleneck jumper!
